Eighth graders finished reading the book, Los Baker van a Perú, which tells the story of a family who won a trip to Perú. Students embarked on the family's adventures through Perú visiting cities like Lima and Cuzco as well as Machu Picchu. Being that one of our eighth graders has family from Perú, DW was able to share some of his photos from his visit to Lima, Cuzco and Machu Picchu. DW shared some indigenous clothing with his classmates. Students were intrigued by the Inca ruins and the brightly colored indigenous clothing. Thanks DW for a wonderful presentation!
